Athletic Directors and Coaches
In the ever changing landscape of high school interscholastic competition, one group stands tall maintaining consistency. Our games are not possible without officials helping guide the way on the field, pitch, court, or track. Simply put, without the officials the contests would be nearly impossible to organize and play across all sports we offer.
In recognition of the importance of our officials across the state of Texas, the TAPPS Executive Board authorized a recognition program for chapters, crews and individual officials. As you move through your seasons, please take a moment before or after each contest to thank the men and women who officiate our contests for the gift of their time and energies for the good of the interscholastic games. Please help us to recognize those who stand out throughout the year by nominating them for the new Blue Ribbon Official Award. The nomination form is available under FORMS in TMS. Recipients will be recognized on the website honoring their efforts.
