Coaches:
Throughout the 2026 Cross Country season, both invitational meets and the championships, TAPPS schools are required to observe the current NFHS Cross Country rules as posted by the NFHS. TAPPS provides only medical exceptions as outlined in the NFHS rules.
- TAPPS does not allow bare midriff or similar attire (no tying or knotting singlets)
- TAPPS rules require closed leg briefs, spandex or similarly constructed bottoms to be covered by modesty shorts (This applies to shorts and full length pants)
- TAPPS does not allow hats or visors
- TAPPS does not allow glasses with technology features built in – sunglasses are allowed
